ReadyTrack is in association with Western Governors University
ReadyTrack™ is on a mission to help close the tech-talent gap by fostering a more equitable world. ReadyTrack's software developer program equips diverse and untapped talent with the skills and relationships needed to launch tech careers. We focus primarily on people of color, women, individuals making under $35,000 annually, and those receiving support assistance who are working towards financial independence.
As of 2021, the global tech talent shortage is in a deficit of 40M skilled workers worldwide. By 2030, that number is predicted to more than double, resulting in an estimated revenue loss in the trillions.
US tech wages are 89% higher than the national average.
So, why do we have so many tech job vacancies, and people unemployed or underemployed?
Because we are overlooking and have underinvested in our most precious resource, our people. And that is a crisis that inspired us to take action.
The program takes a holistic approach focusing on tech and power skill development, mentorship, and career and confidence coaching, to prepare learners of all backgrounds to launch a new career in tech in just 30 weeks of part-time training.
We believe that a new track should begin with a fresh start and not debt or student loans. ReadyTrack partners with community organizations to provide learners with tuition sponsorship and support for life circumstances.
